ICT 2010 Networking Session "Language Technology for a Multilingual Europe"
Language Technology for a Multilingual Europe
Tuesday, 28th September 2010
Brussels-Expo, room T011, 09:00–10:30

The areas of content processing, information access/mining, and interaction are key focus areas in the ICT workprogramme. This emphasis is reflected in the work META-NET is doing around creating a Strategic Research Agenda for European Language Technology based on the findings of three Vision Groups investigating the same areas. At the Networking Session “Language Technology for a Multilingual Europe” we present initial findings and discussions from each of these Vision Groups and invite the audience to discuss relevant topics and visions for these key areas with members of our panel from both industry and academia.
